ATHLETES FOR ACTIVE SCHOOLS WEEK

Athletes for Hope and Let’s Move! Active Schools are teaming up for “Athletes for Active Schools Week” to raise awareness of the importance of physical education and physical activity in public schools and leverage Athlete voice to show that when kids are active in school they are not only healthier, they learn better.

Here’s how to participate:

  1. Record a short video explaining why physical education is important to you.
  2. Then show us 5 reps of your favorite exercise (e.g. burpees, push-ups, squats, pull-ups, jumping jacks, dance moves, etc.). Be creative with your moves!
  3. Then challenge five others in your social network to do the same.
  4. Don’t forget to post with the hashtag #5forPE.
